We’ll be coming to you LIVE! from the theme parks each and every week.

Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates. However, we can report that PeopleMover and Peter Pan’s Flight had reopened by the time our MickeyBlogger Melissa left the park. So that essentially meant that first thing this morning a popular attraction in each land of the Magic Kingdom was down.Īs of going to print, Disney did not give a reason for the multiple closures. It was more of the same in terms of ride closures over in Tomorrowland, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Poeplemover was shut down.

However, today, it was slow to get started. This ride is wildly popular and typically has lines of 60 minutes and over. There were no grim, grinning ghosts for us this morning.Īs we walked through Fantasyland, we also noticed that the classic attraction Peter Pan’s Flight was also closed. Next, we popped over to Liberty Square where the main attraction in the area, the Haunted Mansion was closed to guests. It was more of the same over at Adventureland where popular attraction Pirates of the Caribbean was also down. Those following along with us will also note that the adjacent Splash Mountain is also closed for a lengthy refurbishment and is being re-themed as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Things didn’t get off to the best start at Magic Kingdom this morning! Our MickeyBlogger Melissa kicked the day off with a visit to the “Most Magical Place on Earth” but four popular attractions were slow to open this morning! This is quite a few ride closures.Īll was quiet over at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland this morning as the ride was temporarily closed.Īs always, you can check ride closures and wait times using the My Disney Experience App.
